High Alert is the ability to recognise Static Theft - that a vehicle has without authorisation been started and driven off or towed from a standing situation.
Importantly, the High Alert function is activated / de-activated by means of an 'intelligent technology' breakthrough and NOT a tell-tale hand-held remote as with rival systems. In addition, the installation of High Alert does not entail the addition of a separate car alarm against the vehicle manufacturer's wishes.
High Alert is instantly and simultaneously signalled to BANDIT 24-Hour Control and the Vehicle Owner via SMS. As with all alerts received from installed units, BANDIT responds within seconds.
BANDIT 24-Hour Control is at the moment of receiving a High Alert or any other warning additionally transmitted details of the vehicle's positioning. Recovery Teams armed with specialised Direction Finding Equipment home in on Low-Frequency Digital signals emitted by the unit's onboard transmitter.
